MCC Warehouse - Helping people around the world

We have an awesome opportunity to make a difference in people's lives around the world on Wednesday, November 25 just down the road in Abbotsford at the MCC Warehouse!

Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) helps people across the globe (learn more below)

We're meeting at the church at 6:45pm, taking the bus to the MCC Warehouse, working in the warehouse, stopping on the way home for a bite, and arriving back at the church at 9:30pm.

No cost except bring money for a food stop on the way home.

Signed permission form needed... click here

A little more about MCC from their website...
In every country where MCC works, we partner with local churches and organizations with similar values. Together we work in three areas:
Relief: Meeting people’s immediate needs for survival during times of crisis, such as a hurricane or war. We also focus on helping communities prepare for and respond to disasters.
Development: Strengthening people’s long-term access to food and waterhealth care and education. Our programs also help people find ways to support their families.
Peace: Teaching conflict transformation skills, supporting peace education, advocating for justice and encouraging people to work together despite their differences.
