God really blessed our camping kickoff with some amazing weather! Friday night we worked together to set up tents. Then people sat around the fire or went on walks or laid out on the beach. Some great conversations around the fire and down on the beach! Looking up at the stars and talking about God's handiwork and how he planned it all and made it all - awesome!
Saturday morning after a leisurely breakfast and devotional, was all about building forts, canoeing, walking and hanging out. The afternoon promised an amazing game of capture the fag between the islands with canoes and swimmers attacking the other island when Jeff ripped his foot open and rushed off to the hospital under the caring hands of Andrew and Ashton. The game stopped in memory of Jeff, but he made it through with foot in tact although very painful and bruised!
Sunday morning we were challenged from Philippians 2, and then packed up in record time. We had a great game of ultimate frisbee on the beach of Harrison Lake and then ended our time around 1:30pm back at the church.
