Come decorate cookies and deliver them to some people that we appreciate in order to bless and encourage them!
Meet at the church regular time. We'll be driving around town a bit, so you need a signed permission form...

This will be a classy, sit down for dessert start (with a few surprises...) followed by different entertainment options. Formal attire is encouraged, so dress up as you are able!

Camping Kickoff Memories

God really blessed our camping kickoff with some amazing weather! Friday night we worked together to set up tents. Then people sat around the fire or went on walks or laid out on the beach. Some great conversations around the fire and down on the beach! Looking up at the stars and talking about God's handiwork and how he planned it all and made it all - awesome!
Saturday morning after a leisurely breakfast and devotional, was all about building forts, canoeing, walking and hanging out. The afternoon promised an amazing game of capture the fag between the islands with canoes and swimmers attacking the other island when Jeff ripped his foot open and rushed off to the hospital under the caring hands of Andrew and Ashton. The game stopped in memory of Jeff, but he made it through with foot in tact although very painful and bruised!
Sunday morning we were challenged from Philippians 2, and then packed up in record time. We had a great game of ultimate frisbee on the beach of Harrison Lake and then ended our time around 1:30pm back at the church.

Tomorrow night's pool party at the Babuin's is cancelled (leak in pool, cold water, rain in forecast). Save your swimming/water desires for our camping kickoff! Get your forms and money in! Same for Tulahead!

Tulahead Retreat

If you enjoy any of these:

Then October 12-14 at Camp Tulahead is the weekend for you!

Here's how it works...
     $130 and the permission form (click here) need to be handed in no later than September 23. We need at least 30 people to sign up to go. If you hand in your money and not enough people sign up, it will be returned after Sep 23.

Oct 12, show up at the church at 5pm with...
             warm clothes, toiletries, sleeping bag and pillow, flashlight, 
             towel and shampoo, Bible, pen and notebook

Bring some spending money for a food stop on the way up, the snack shop on Saturday, and another food stop on the way back.

Camping Kickoff at Hicks Lake

Join us for an awesome weekend of relaxed camping with friends around the fire, canoeing on the lake, fighting over island domination, swimming, hiking, s'mores and more!

We'll meet at the church on Friday, September 14 at 5pm and return Sunday, September 16 around noon.

$25 covers the weekend if paid by Sunday, September 2!!
$10 late fee after September 2!
Payment (late fees if applicable) and consent forms (click here, and here) must be received by Sunday, September 9.
